I love Michael to death, and glasses wouldn't be a bad look for him...but as an optician...I have some beefs with the black frames (which are either a RayBan or Oliver Winston frame):
1) The eye size is not wide enough for his face, there should be a finger width between the outer corner of the eye and where the frame edge starts 2) They are TOTALLY the wrong shape for Michael's bone structure.
Now, taking into consideration that Michael is over 40 he may have a Progressive lens (to correct myopia common in peeps over 40...basically no-line bifocals) which would explain the larger frame...you have to have a certain distance between the pupil and the bottom edge of the lens for the progression of the prescription. However....
The optician who told him that he looked good and let him walk out of the dispensery with those on needs to have THEIR eyes examined. Bold and black, awesome, just wider and a bit more rounded.

yeah all that professional stuff... eeek. but i must agree. the people at the eye clinic should never have let him walk out the door with those glasses. as a person who wheres glasses i know how important it is to look good in them. mine are really tiny frames cause i have a small head, lol.

I'm SUPER picky about my frames. The ones I have currently took me about 3 1/2 months to finally decide on. They're a really cool sort of twist on the old "cat's eye" style frame from the 50's...black on the front and red on the back of the frame.
I do absolutely everything in my power to shift folks...especially men, to smaller frames. But, when you get people who are totally set on "that's what I want and I'm going to get it no matter what"...which I can see Michael doing...you just have to let them go.
