Instead of The Simple Life she should just do a show all about herself...The Hilton Life...geez...

The only thing I've found lately of notable news, (and that has nothing to do with a Hilton) is that Renee Zellweger is going to play Janis Joplin in a movie profiling the musician's life. I have to give her big kudos for her versatility as an actress and I'll be curious to see how the film turns out.

As a Joplin fanatic, I think Renee' will do an excellent job as Janis! I'm really looking forward to this movie. Now, on the other hand, I read that there's another Janis movie in the works & Pink will be playing the lead roll. Pink?? Sorry, I just don't see her as Janis.

K, so now I really want to be a member of Oprah's audience. She just gave almost 300 people new cars. Most of the people in the audience were attendees because someone nominated them to be recipients of a new car, but she made it look like only 12 were getting a new car. Turns out, in the same fashion as Oprah does her Christmas gift show, there was a box under the seat that had the keys to each individuals new car. Where on earth do I sign up for Oprah tickets and when can I nominate myself for one of the 'fantabulous' free gifts she gives? To whom can I suck up?

I wish Britney Spears' ex hubby would get over it already. First he's supposed to be on that new talk show that took over the time slot Sharon Osbourne was in, and he was quoted as saying he new fiance looks like a punk. Now he's saying he didn't realize the annulment would be the end of their friendship. Jesus, get a life already and move on - she certainly has.

Little Carol Seaver got herself into a bit of trouble. And she's damn lucky she didn't kill herself and her family. Actress Tracy Gold Marshall rolled the family SUV over the weekend, with her entire family in the car. Her husband and two of the couples three children were injured and Mrs. Gold Marshall was booked on suspicion of drunk driving. I'll be curious to see how this one turns out, but I am glad everyone only sustained minor injuries. When are people going to learn the dangers of drunk driving?

Geez, they were lucky! I guess some people will never learn. It's sad...

Macaulay Culkin was arrested for possession of pot and controlled prescription drugs during a routine traffic stop. Looking at the mug shot makes me wonder if he's going to be the River Phoenix of the 2000's. He looks pretty rough and it seems that so many young people are getting into the prescription drugs. Two things though before I get hammered by everyone on this board. I don't think his talent in any way compares to that of Phoenix and I don't think ALL young people are doing drugs. Unfortunately, for the drug scene, the ability to get large quantities of these pills is becoming more and more common. I can say this with some knowledge because, living right next to the border leading into Mexico, it's real easy to get a script down there and buy out their supply. These pills go for $5 or more a piece. Talk about a killing. I just hope I'm wrong.

I just read where Billy Bob Thornton's girl friend gave birth to a little girl - his fourth or fifth kid, I don't remember how many - all I remember is that they didn't list the baby he and Angelina Jolie adopted together. As a matter of fact you never even see him with the kid. I wonder if he's just broken all ties with both Angelina and the baby and if so, what a schmuck. Adopt a baby that will call you Daddy and then drop the kid like you're dropping his mom. I like Billy Bob, but that's just kind of weird.

Ok, so now the FCC is trying to fine Fox 1 million for indecency stemming from Fox's reality show Married by America. While I never watched the show, they apparently had scenes from bachelor and bachelorette parties and, well, we all know what happens at those. It will be interesting to see the outcome on this one for a few reasons. While I don't believe in censoring certain things, I think networks have taken the reality tv too far already. All the spin off shows and new ones popping up every week it seems, when is enough enough? And with everyone being a bit tired of them, I think Fox had to work some shock factor in just to get people to watch.

This reply is directed to the first post in the thread (sorry guys I know I need to catch up..LOL)...It seems like getting married is like "the thing to do" in Hollywood. Nicolas Cage has been married like what 50 times or something. He needs to chill and I love him to death too..awesome actor but jeez louis get a grip on some valium and give the marraige/divorce thing a rest already..whew...sorry needed to get that out..it just doesnt seem like marriage is what its supposed to be, a commitment between two people to love eachother and do whatever it takes to work it out...it seems like most hollywood couples( not just Nicolas Cage) get married and the minute the other person farts..."oh my god its over, I cant stand him. We have no chemistry..blah blah blah"...EISH!
And don't even get me started on Paris Hilton..I really don't like her....LOL

Ok, haven't posted anything here in a little bit so I'm just gonna touch on one person. Tom Sizemore has yet another legal battle brewing as a result of a sexual harrassment claim from a woman who worked with him on the tv show Robbery Homicide Division. It seems that Tom might find himself in jail sometime soon after being found guilty for abuse towards his previous significant other, Heidi Fleiss, and for drug charges. After his initial court appearances (on the Heidi Fleiss issues) and subsequent sentancing, his jail term was suspended pending his attendance in a drug treatment program. Now, this August a random drug screen (part of his probation) came up positive for methamphetamines and he was set to be sentanced for that in September. No word as of the outcome of that but it wouldn't surprise me if he's sitting in a rehab center in sunny CA right this very moment. With these current allegations who knows what's gonna happen to Mr. Sizemore.
