Are you out there Dude?We have a show on T.V with news on films and bands etc.Last night they presented a new English band of young guys singing like the Queen Band.Blew me away it's the best of the imitators I've heard yet.Only problem is,they didn't name the group.Have you heard the bands-Crowded House and Splitz Ends? Nove.

I'm right over here nove... I haven't heard of those bands, are they mainstream here in america? I sometimes fall behind on my knowledge of current music since I hear so little lately ( aside form the killers & bowling for soup) that interests me

Crowded House had a HUGE hit in the US in the 80's with the song 'Don't Dream it's Over'....great tune.
Very sad to hear that their drummer took his own life last week...Paul Hester was a very talented individual.
I really think you'd like Crowded House Dude....track them down if you get the chance.
My favorite bands from Down Under: Poi Dog Pondering, Icehouse, INXS, Midnight Oil
Gotta love Peter Garrett!

The show was totaly dedicated to "Queen's" top 10 songs and to see them in concert was wonderful. Many years ago the band was out here and it was marvellous and I know my son was wrapped. Nove.

I kinda guessed from your screen name that you might be a Crue fan. ;D They're one of my favorites too...I'm a child of the 80's so I love all those "hair" bands. Bon Jovi was always my favorite back in the day...still one of my favorites to this day. Last Sunday night I saw Poison & Cinderella on their 20th anniversary tour. Awesome! I felt like a teenager again! ;D U2 is one of my top two faves (Pearl Jam being the other). I saw them on the Pop tour. And I've seen PJ live too many times to count. I think it's 4...

My favourite band is still Queen and I still cry over Freddie Mercury. Other than that I can't say what other bands I favour. Nove.
