Michael says the best part being a dad.
I feel very lucky. Kids have a tendency to prevent you from self-distruction,you know what I mean? It's like, you've got theses little guys to look after and you're likely to go off the deep end amotionally or otherwise you want to make sure that you can stick around and watch them grow up and see them be happy. I don't really feel like I've missed anything up to this point. I've done everything that I've wanted to do,when I wanted to and I don't have any regrets. There certainly isn't anything that I wished I'd done. I think obviously some of the escapades I've been involved in and out of neferious things I've been associated with and the wanderings of a young man in his early 20s and 30s are (similar to my roles). I'm sure that I've earned a certain portion of that tag but I don't apologize for any of it. I mean,I've never killed anybody ,you know? Michaeld was portrayed by the press as this kind of"hard-ass,in-your-face,kick- butt-and-take-names"kind of guy. Am I upset by it? Put it this way,I think I spend a little time bit more time thinking things over than I used to and if I've changed at all that"s probably what it is. I'n a lot less impulsive. I've learned the hard way that's it's sometimes a little bit wiser to take time and think about things before you do them. I might wind-up doing the same thing but at least I gave it some consideration and I think that makes all the difference. Nove.

Michael says he is very bad at auditioning. I really can't sit down in a room and read for a panel of people. It doesn't make any sense. It's so far removed from what you actually do in a movie that I don't know how to do it in a room. I once had an audition where I was supposed to be some kind of bad guy. The casting director kept saying,"You've gotta be angry here. You've got to show me some anger. You've got to show me aggression." I kept trying to get there and she just kept shaking her head. Then she said,"let me pretend like I'm the other character,"and I said,"Ok,I can do that." She read the other line and I started to try to play the scene. At one point I picked up a chair that I had been sitting on and threw it across the room. That busted the chair. She got very upset and stopped the whole thing. She said,"You're crazy! You're not an actor. You're destroying property!' I said, "What? I thought we were playing a scene here. It wasn't my intention to destroy your office but if you want to take me to that place,if you want me to show anger, how can you now be upset by what I did?:" I didn't get the part. Nove.

Well,I'm running out of things to post now as you seem to have read all of my old stuff. I think I have one interview left from 2004,which was in our Saturday morning Herald. That was a shock to the system and I bet very few people read it here . I will have to post it in stages and hope you haven't read it.
Michael fills in for Tim Robbins part in "War of the Worlds."
Movie hardman Michael Madsen would be a criminal rather than a movie star-if only he wasn't such a useless felon. He admits he was a wild teenager and looked destined for a life of crime but he wasn't good enough to take it up full time. Michael says,I've done my fair share of crime but I'm not sure I was any good at it. I got caught too easily. Sure,I was in jail a couple of times when I was a juvenile for stealing cars and burglary, disorderly conduct, assualt and battery. "I was always something of an outsider,so I tended to hang out with outsiders, underdogs and losers." Michael was desperate to play late country singer Johnny Cash especially if it forces him to learn the guitar. Michael is a longtime admirer of the singer. Madsen,44,says,"I'd really like to play Johnny Cash. So if somebody out there has got a screenplay,I'd like to do that, man. "I really think I could do a good job of that. I always wanted to play the guitar and the only way I'm going to is if I'm forced to and the only way I'm going to be forced to is if I played Johnny Cash." Nove.

Had another sort out of my Michael's stuff tonight and I have found the last of it. I forgot I'd put some of the stuff in another box,so I know I have the last of it now. I'll post what I've got left in the hope it hasn't been read. Nove.

Well,I ain't got any new stuff unfortunately and I have to watch the hours I spend on the computer because if you go over the hours I have to start paying for it and I pay enough already. Therefore I try not to go over the hours surfing the net in the hope of finding the latest on Michael. If I had unlimited acsess it would be ok. Nove.

Yes,I type it all out but I enjoy doing it especially if it hasn't been read before. Keith a while ago said he may have a scanner for me but so far he's not mention it again. I don't like to ask what happened to it. Nove.

I thought I would be hooked-up to Broad Band on Friday. It didn't go well and I was spitting tacks and Keith let me down very badly by throwing a hissy fit and leaving me with a mess of wires to hook-up. Xtra Help Desk were great and then to our dismay I couldn't get hooked-up asI don't have a usb in my computer. One can't buy the disc as it's obsolete as Microsoft doesn't support Windows 98 anymore. All I can do is up-date my computer to 2000 and I'm not relying on Keith. Some other friends have come to the party. Nove.
