nove, i joined that program called the job corp remember. i mentioned it on this board. after fighting to get in for about 8 months i finally went and its like a giant prison compound. they control every aspect of ur life, they even tell u when u get to go to the bathroom. i swear they even try to brainwash you, lol. i left on tuesday but they kicked me out on friday cause the counselor or whatever said i wasnt mentally stable enough to be there. i have a mental history, about 7 yrs ago i tried to kill myself and was commited for 3 days. since then i have not gotten any further counseling or taken any medication cause i think its useless. i also have a hitory of depression from as far back as i can remember. but whatever, im going to england in a few weeks and i think simon and i are gonna sit down and make plans for living together.

Hell's bells Aradia. I've had three break-downs and suffer badly from depression which has been with me since childhood. In my 20's I took an over dose and it was only my neighbour who got to me in time. I had to go to counseling and had shock treatment, which made me worse and I thew all the medication away as that made me worse. So I know where you are coming from. I do remember the corp job, what do they know. I say make those plans to live with Simon,I think he understands you and loves you. Nove.

ok well tomorrow im off to Iowa. with any luck the next time i return to louisiana it will only be to get the rest of my stuff. with even more luck it will be my mom bringing my stuff to me, lol. unfortunatly im getting sick again and im afraid tomorrows trip is going to miserable cause i have 2 layovers before i make to Iowa. memphis and minniapolis (however you spell it). as i already said my dad doesnt have a computer but as soon as i start working and get financial stuff sorted out im going to get one. so hopefully it will only be a few months of me going to the library to use the net. in the mean time, yall better not go anywhere, lol. i will check in as often as possible.

i didnt finish high school so i didnt get a high school diploma. GED school is a way to get your diploma without having to finish actual high school. now its not quite as good as the real things but in this state you cant even get a simple cashiering job without atleast a GED. really sux.

I'll say it sux's. I think experience one has, not what it says on paper. My nephew Bruce who is manager for Florsheim's Shoe Store, won't even look at a CV. Prefering someone who walks in off the street wanting a job. It works quite a lot out here. In my day you just got a job,no CV'S. Nove.
