Too true. Sometime ago I lived in a different area and one day we had a group of the roughest lads from the P.D.centre to come and clean up the side-walks. Neighbours went balistic and locked their doors, just freaked out. I knew some of those lads when they were school boys. I didn't lock my doors and would take cold drinks out to them. In later years they would visit and do anything for me. Yes,some were bikers. Nove.

This is going to be a bit of a saga,so fasten your seat belts. Had quite an adventure this afternoon. It was a real coincidence, after talking about bikers. After coming off the net,I put my neighbours washing on (she's not well). Suddenly I heard the rumble of a motor cycle in the complex and a guy sitting on a seat waiting for a friend of his Dads who died last week. Believe it or not the guy was called Mike and he owned the bike. Hells bells and buggy bells, the bike was enormous, blue and silver in colour,Volkswagon engine, easy rider look about it,2 passenger seats side by side behind the rider. Mikes wife, Dawn, looking like Lily Munster in her dress, only difference was the heavily tattooed arms, was riding the bike. (she usually rides a Harley Davidson) I was offered a ride and off we went with German helmuts acting as crash helmuts. Afraid I've caused a stir in the complex, the neighbours were stunned to see me take off. What fun I had. The bike was made in Germany and there are only 2 in New Zealand. Nove.

LOL Nove!! I can just see you on the back of that bike!! You go girl!! I bet you had a blast. My dad had a motorcycle when I was younger & he would take us on rides. Then one of my friends had one (before he crashed it...) & I would ride with him every once in awhile.

It was a great ride,I'm the talk of the complex. ;D My neighbours think I'm madder than ever. What fun! It was better than horse riding and I've did alot of that in my life time. I'm game for most things. Nove.
