ok so i got a collection of MM magazine clippings off of ebay and they have some interesting articles. they are short and to the point. and they consist of some very good pictures. so here are the articles. sorry if some of these have been shared before.
Michael finds himself in a child custody battle Michael Madsen(Donnie Brasco), who plays a vigilante on vengance unlimited, the ABC series that launched this fall, is in a court battle of his own. madsen, who has been divorced from his second wife, jeannine, for four years(and has since remarried), was recently awarded temporary primary custody of their two children, ages 4 and 8, after a court appointed therapist for the kids and a therapist for jeannine jointly submitted a suspected child abuse report against her. Jeannines lawyer stresses that no determination of child abuse has been made, and that on dec. 11 there will be a full hearing in L.A based on an investigation by the Department of Children Services. At that time permanent custody will be decided. "This incident has been blown way out of proportion, and I expect to be cleared when the investigation is completed," says Jeannine.

ok heres another article. remember that im copying everything word for word.
skip it An incredible cast of tough guys and the always-intriquing 1950's L.A. setting can't save Mulaholland Falls from arresting boredom. Nick Nolte and his hat squad (Chazz Palminteri, Chris Penn, Michael Madsen) investigate a murder in which the government may play a part, but that's an just an excuse for the boys to smoke cigarettes and punch people. Meanwhile, Melanie Griffith (as Nolte's wife) serves as a textbook example of a thankless role. The problem is that Falls strives to be a Chinatown for the 90's but leaves out the mystery, depth and character that made that yarn a neonoir classic.(MGM/UA)

You know what, I have to agree with that article because I had a hard time watching Mulholland Falls. LAME! But then I can't stand Melanie Griffith either so that's probably the first nail in the movie case for me.

ok heres another article.
This fall, fans of Michael Madsen, the star of ABC's new action drama (currently titled Mr.Chapel), may stare into his deep blue eyes and think they're just too good to be true. Guess what? They'd be right. ABC, which is hoping Madsen will become the nets biggest sex symbol since the Fonz, wanted to make his greenish blue eyes bluer and is getting producers at warner Bros. Tv to do touch-up work via computer.

I mean of course Michael's role was cool, playing the real tough-like cop.

I liked reading the magazine clippings. There's no doubt about it, each time I read something regarding Michael whether it's old stuff or new the context is constantly changing and makes one think what is the real truth. Nove.

Top Dog
Michael Madsen made his mark as one of Hollywood's ultimate screen psychotics when he danced to "Stuck in the middle with you" while doing a Van Gogh on a hapless cop in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs. Madsen has appeared in over a dozen films, both as the good guy(Thelma and Louise, Free Willy) and the bad guy(The Getaway) - but he's known for his man-on-the-edge tough guy from Dogs. "Someone sent me a script call Hellvis about a psycopathic illegitimate son of Elvis Presly," says Madsen, " by day he's a serial killer, by night an Elvis impersonator. Im getting bored with that sh*t."
Madsen will next play an army specialist in Species, and he's also in the Willy sequel, but when casting directors look for someone who's really, really bad, why do they constantly go back to Madsen? "I've got a big d*ck," says Madsen. Then he launches without encouragement into a diatribe against what he calls "the black myth"- that African-Americans have big ones and white guys don't. "It really pisses me off that they get all the credit," he says.
What kind of reaction does Madsen get from fans when hes out and about? "Its funny when I come across a family, because the kids will come running up to me, screaming, 'It's the guy from Free Willy,' and their parents will be yanking them away because they remember me from Reservoir Dogs." In real life Madsen is a father of two. Are there plans for a big family? "Yeah, I better have a lot of kids," he quips," in case a few of them dont like me."
