VIRGINIA NEWS...
NEW YORK (Reuters) - "Sideways," a comedy about two buddies on a wine-soaked, midlife romp in California grape-growing country, was the big winner on Monday in the New York Film Critics Circle (news - web sites) Awards, taking best picture and three other honors. Paul Giamatti (news) was named best actor and his co-star, Virginia Madsen, was cited as best supporting actress for their roles in "Sideways," which has grossed less than $13 million so far in a limited release.
Virginia has also been nominated for a Golden Globe for best supporting actress for her role in the movie.

So would that mean that he will be at the Oscars too, or are they just going to show when he arrives on the red carpet?

So would that mean that he will be at the Oscars too, or are they just going to show when he arrives on the red carpet? If I understand it correctly he's just going to the Oscar viewing party, so I guess he's not actually going to the Oscars. I'm sure the E! network will have coverage of it, so I'll get my VCR ready to tape for anyone who misses it. Hmmmmm, I wonder if his attendance at the party has anything to do w/ the fact that the Hollywood POKER club is sponsoring the event.
