I also think it's great that Michael and his boys get to hang with Quentin. I bet it was a super 50th birthday party for Michael.

Publicists for actor MICHAEL MADSEN are refusing to comment about reports the RESERVOIR DOGS star has been detained by authorities over fears for his mental health. A report on news blog TMZ.com suggests the actor was taken from his Los Angeles home on Monday (20Oct08) by sheriff's deputies after "a family member in the house became alarmed by his crazy behavior". The site claims he is being held on involuntary psychiatric hold, administered to patients who are deemed a danger to themselves or others. When approached by WENN to confirm the reports, Madsen's publicist Liza Anderson replied with "no comment". Involuntary psychiatric hold - also known in the U.S. as a 5150 hold - is the same treatment administered to Britney Spears after her meltdown in January (08) over a child custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Contrary to what you may have heard, Mr. Blonde did not go berserk.
Michael Madsen was not hospitalized Monday on a 5150 hold—the situation Britney Spears found herself in when she was deemed a danger to herself or others after being wheeled off to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in January—as reported Wednesday by TMZ.com, a rep for the veteran character actor tells E! News.
"Madsen just got off a plane from overseas after a grueling work schedule. He was suffering from food poisoning and extreme exhaustion and basically collapsed," rep Liza Anderson said.
"He is resting now with his family by his side."
A rep for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department also told E! that the office had no record of deputies hauling Madsen away to the hospital after getting a worried call from his family, as TMZ previously reported.
"We don't have any info on it," the officer said. "Even if we did, we don't discuss medical issues."

I thought this was of interest.
Budapest - Several thousand mourners gathered in a Hungarian village on Tuesday for the funeral of a Roma father and son who were gunned down the previous week as they fled their burning home. Csorba Csaba, 27, and his five-year-old son were shot with hunting rifles before dawn on Monday, February 23. It is suspected that the family home in Tatarszentgyorgy, 40 kilometres south-east of the capital Budapest, was first set ablaze with petrol bombs.
Although the motive for and precise details of the attack have not been proven, it is widely assumed to have been racially motivated and the case has become a symbol of rising racial tension surrounding Hungary's Roma minority.
The funeral was attended by famous Hungarian musicians and actors, as well as civil rights activists and politicians. Traditional funeral music was provided at the graveside by 35 members of a popular Gypsy orchestra.
"We stand here in shame and ask the mourning family for forgiveness," the Methodist pastor Gabor Ivanyi said in a speech calling for Roma inclusion. "It is not they who must fit in; it is we who must accept them."
The Hungarian actor and film director Robert Koltai, whose forthcoming film "Magic Boys" will star American actor Michael Madsen, was among the mourners on the grey Hungarian afternoon.
"I couldn't not come. What happened is horrendous - everyone should be here," Koltai told the news agency MTI.
"I only trust that these events mark the crossing of a line, and warn us that things cannot go on like this," he added.
An estimated 3,000 Roma and other mourners gathered in and around the cemetery. Over 100 police officers stood guard, and the occasion passed without disturbance.
Minister for Social Affairs Erika Szucs represented Hungary's socialist government, while the head of the National Gypsy Council, Orban Kolompar, was among numerous leaders of Roma organisations.
In December, 2007, Tatarszentgyorgy was the scene of a rally by the extreme-right paramilitary Hungarian Guard, which was campaigning against what it calls "Gypsy crime."
A Budapest court last December ordered the controversial organisation to be disbandded, with the court citing speeches and intimidation at the rally that violated of the human rights of local Roma residents.
However, the ruling is subject to appeal and the organisation continues to hold rallies, including one in Budapest following the fatal stabbing of the Romanian handball international Marian Cozma in February, in which all the suspects now on remand are Roma.
Cozma's murder and the public and media reaction to it marked a new and serious increase in the level of fear and mistrust amongst both the Roma, estimated to make up as much as seven per cent of Hungary's population of ten million, and the Hungarians who share towns and villages with them.
On Monday, the government announced that it plans to propose changes to Hungary's liberal constitution that would allow for restrictions on public "hate speech."
There have been 16 reported attacks on Roma homes in Hungary over the past year involving petrol bombs, guns and even hand grenades.

Madsen says filming in Ireland 'like coming home' 18/08/2009 - 15:29:26
Michael Madsen felt like he was "coming home" while making his new movie in Ireland.
The 'Reservoir Dogs' actor loved getting the change to film 'Strength and Honour' in Ireland but admits he struggled to get to grips with mastering a local accent, despite his Irish roots.
He said: "I play an Irish prize fighter in the film. We made it in Ireland, which was beautiful. My mother was Danish-Irish, so I kind of felt as if I was coming home.
"I had to do an Irish accent and the local people were my worst critics. I didn't have a voice coach, I just picked it up. They told me I was quite good at it."
Despite his successes, Madsen insists he still feels like an outsider in Hollywood.
He explained to Britain's Hello magazine: "You think that you've got to be an outsider, then you realise that by doing that, you've yourself outside.
Finally you say: 'I am who I am and I'm happy.' I don't have any apologies to make or anything to complain about."

MADSEN HIT WITH MORE FINANCIAL WORRIESMICHAEL MADSEN is sinking deeper into financial turmoil - the bankrupt actor faces eviction from his Malibu, California home for failing to pay his rent. The Reservoir Dogs star has been hit with a lawsuit from his landlord who alleges Madsen has not paid four months' rent - and owes $80,000 (£50,000). According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, the star will be evicted if he fails to catch up with his rent arrears.
