Isn't this just bizarre? Michael in a different place now and a different newspaper report.
RESERVOIR Dogs film star Michael Madsen trashed his room at a top Cardiff hotel Wales on Sunday can reveal.
Wildman Madsen, 49, had been in Wales filming scenes for his latest flick The Big I Am earlier this month.
The American actor spent a week at Cardiff’s Holland House Hotel, where he was shooting scenes in one of their conference rooms.
After filming finished, he checked into the five-star St David’s Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay with his wife Deanna Morgan.
Wales on Sunday understands the couple had an argument and Madsen ended up trashing his room.
The tough guy actor then checked back into Holland House Hotel for a couple more days, before travelling to London to carry on filming.
A source at the Holland House Hotel said: “The film crew stayed with us because they were using one of our conference rooms as part of their set. Once they finished filming, Michael checked out for a couple of days. We heard he came back here because he smashed a room up at the St David’s Hotel.”
The source said Madsen had been a demanding guest – but said he had been well behaved while staying with them. “He was demanding in terms of what he wanted. He was ordering the concierge to get him takeaways and they were running around after him, but they were happy to oblige.
“He had his wife and children staying with him, and he was well behaved once he got to our hotel. He can come again.”
The star’s Los Angeles-based lawyer Perry C Wander confirmed he and his wife had been arguing at the St David’s Hotel, but denied he was thrown out.
He told Wales on Sunday: “My client was not ejected from the hotel.
“He had a row with his wife of 13 years. They are together and in love and hope that the public understands this.”Last night, a St David’s Hotel spokesman refused to comment due to “customer confidentiality”.

Managed to down load an interview with Michael at an Airport. How embarassing for him. Michael denied he had been in England and it must have been someone else. I didn't think much of the interviewer

Excellent reply from Michael. I have to admit there must be better pictures of De Anna.

Good article. I'm so behind in reading stuff lately b/c I've been so busy at work. It's weird how dogs (and all animals really) can sense people's moods and stuff, but I guess that's why they're called Man's Best Friend, although I'm a cat person myself.

Actor DAVID CARRADINE wed in his KILL BILL co-star MICHAEL MADSEN's back yard in a bid to avoid media mayhem. The star decided to marry for the fifth time in December 2004 and wanted the ceremony to be as private as possible, so he took over his pal's house. Carradine reveals he dreamed of a beach wedding but quickly discovered that any public seaside ceremony would become an easy target for the paparazzi. He says, "We decided we didn't want publicity. We wanted to get married just between ourselves and our children and the judge, who is an old friend of the family. "I realised that I hear about these secret celebrity marriages the day after they happen and I don't think anybody is really trying to have a truly secret marriage. But most of the fans and most of the media don't even know that I'm married. "It can be a total secret. There's no reason why the helicopters have to show up. We were originally gonna do it on a public beach some place until we found out you have to register to do that and get a permit, so immediately they'd call up the media and the paparazzi would be showing up. "That's why we ended up doing it in Michael's private backyard. He lives at the beach and we were barefoot in the water. It was a gorgeous day."

Movie tough guy MICHAEL MADSEN has dedicated his new movie VICE to late pal CHRIS PENN. The actor admits he was left shattered when his Reservoir Dogs co-star died at the beginning of 2006, and set about finding a great film he could honour his late friend with. And when the script for Vice came along, Madsen knew he'd found the film he'd been looking for. Madsen, who teams up with his Kill Bill co-star Daryl Hannah in the new movie, says, "Chris and I were very good friends and when he died it just shattered me. I was completely f**ked up for a long time. I couldn't believe he was dead. "He was such a strong, wonderful guy. We had a lot of fun together over the years. I just miss him very much and thought it would be nice to dedicate the film to him, so that's why I did it." The actor even tried to land Penn's mother a role in the movie: "I wanted his mother Eileen to play my mother in the film, but the casting people in Vancouver made sure that didn't happen. I see her around Malibu and go and visit her once in awhile. She's a lovely lady."

Madsen's a hotel thief!
Big butch Hollywood star Michael Madsen - in Hell Ride out later this year - has confessed to being a hotel thief.
"You know those things that plug into the outlets that glow at night?" he asks Empire (October). "It's a nice green colour, it lights up the whole room and I love those things.
"I steal them from hotels all the time - I have about five or six."
I thought this was quite amusing.

Hollywood tough guy MICHAEL MADSEN will think twice before signing up to star in another UWE BOLL movie after getting a taste of the German director's bizarre film techniques on the set of BLOODRAYNE. The Reservoir Dogs star thought he'd worked with the strangest guys in the business before he signed on to play a part in Boll's "crazy" action film in Romania. Madsen was left with a series of injuries and was attacked by gnats and bees on the jungle set of the 2005 film - but it was Boll's collection of stunt horses that caused him the biggest headaches. He tells WENN, "He put me on some crazy Romanian horses. I've done a little riding and I knew the second I got on that animal that it did not know what it was supposed to do. "They (horses) all ran off in different directions and went berserk every time they'd clap the clapperboard to start a scene. My horse ran right into a tree and threw me in a water tank." And that was just the first day. Madsen continues, "I had a catheter in my arm because I was sick from eating the food over there. I lost 12 pounds. I was attacked by gnats in the middle of the Romanian jungle and I had to dive into the water while being attacked by bees. It was a very strange experience - on the way to the set I'd come across potato carts and dead horses. "I don't even know what his movies are about and why he keeps the same theme of people in the jungle and the vampires who ride in from space (sic). What are you doing Uwe? BloodRayne was an abomination... It's a horrifying and preposterous movie." But, saying all that, Madsen would consider making another movie with the eccentric filmmaker: "Uwe was fun. If he called me tomorrow and wanted me to be in a movie I would do it."

RESERVOIR DOGS star MICHAEL MADSEN wore a custom-made fireproof tuxedo throughout new movie HELL RIDE after film financiers balked at his plans to dress up on the set. The tough guy challenged producers and insurance officials when he decided his bike rider character The Gent should wear a full tuxedo - because they feared for his safety. They came to a compromise when a wardrobe mistress insisted she could make Madsen an outfit that was fire retardant. He explains, "I had a grey tuxedo and the insurance company wouldn't let me wear it because, apparently, the material was flammable. "They thought that I was going to spontaneously burst into flames when I was riding the Harley down the road, so my tuxedo idea almost went out the window. "But then the wardrobe people made me one that's not really tuxedo material; just black cloth that's not flammable. It looks great in the film."

Movie tough guy MICHAEL MADSEN's latest movie role as an Irish boxer has changed his life - because he has vowed to stay fighting fit. The Reservoir Dogs star admits he has never been healthier after training hard with no-nonsense boxing trainer Michael Norman Kelly for fight film Strength + Honour - and now he feels terrible if he doesn't keep up his work-outs. Madsen explains, "It was really hard to get in boxing shape and the last thing I want to do is try to get there again. It's a lot easier to maintain than it is to get back. "I have stayed in shape and I have continued to work out. It's good for your head. When you get your body in shape your mind will follow. It's the most physical dedication than I've ever done for a role. You can't fake it. "I learned a lot from the guy that trained me, Michael Norman Kelly, who was a middleweight in Ireland. He came to California and gave me my first lessons, hitting the speed bag and the skip rope before I went to Ireland. That was a good start for me. "After a while you kind of get mentally and physically addicted to the endorphines of fighting and training, so much so that when we were done with the picture, when I wasn't working out I started to feel like a chump. I wanted to keep going in the gym and keep staying in shape. It changed me as a person."

RESERVOIR DOGS star MICHAEL MADSEN has been given a 50th birthday gift he'll never forget - Irish moviemaker MARK MAHON has made him godfather to his baby son. The actor, who hits the half century today (25Sep08), has been asked to act as the guardian to his Strength + Honour director's little boy. Mahon insists the birthday boy was the perfect choice - because he's such a sweetheart. The director says, "He is the sweetest guy you will see." And Mahon hopes his new boxing film will help Madsen break away from playing movie bad guys. He adds, "There's a lot of studios who invested a lot of money in Michael as a bad guy, so they probably don't want Michael to be seen as a good guy, like he is in my film. I would like to think that Michael is making the transition to playing good guys as well." As for his birthday plans, Madsen is hoping to spend the day at his pal Quentin Tarantino's home, while the director is out of town. Madsen says, "I bring my sons to his house and he lets them swim in his pool. His house is filled with memorabilia. The video store that he used to work in has been rebuilt inside his house. He has the Go Go bar from Kill Bill in his basement. "He has mountains of movie posters and toys. It's like Citizen Kane in his house. It's always really fun to be over there. It's a great place to hang out."

Sounds like a nice birthday present. It's also neat that Quentin lets Michael and the boys hang out at his house!
