Ok, if you were stranded on a desert island what 5 cd's would you absolutely have to have?
My list:
1. Ten- Pearl Jam 2. Dark Side of the Moon- Pink Floyd 3. Greatest Hits- Kenny Chesney 4. Arena- Duran Duran 5. Appetite For Destruction- Guns'n'Roses

This is gonna be very difficult... but I'll try.
1. Motley Crue - Theatre of Pain or Too Fast For Love 2. Def Leppard - Hysteria or Adrenalize 3. Shakira - Donde Estan Los Ladrones? 4. Selena - Amor Prohibido 5. Linkin Park - Meteora

Man, it would be hard to pick just one Crue album. I'd probably have to take Shout at the Devil or Dr. Feelgood.

I picked Too Fast cuz it has my all-time favorite song "On With The Show... I could never live if I couldn't hear that song every day. And Theatre because of "Home Sweet Home", but then again... Feelgood has "Don't Go Away Mad"... oh well, I'll never hafta live without my CDs so it doesn't matter, lol.

'On With The Show' is also one of my faves. Yeah, lets just pray we never have to live w/out our cds! lol

Gosh... if I had to live without music, it would drive me insane. Music is the one thing I could never ever live without. Music is above the computer, TV... the whole smash.

I'm with ya on that one girl! I come from a very musical family so music has always been a big part of my life. I remember being a kid & dancing around w/ my mom & dad listening to records(back when there was still vynil!) so my love of classic rock/60's came from them. Plus my brother plays guitar & sings so I'm always listening to him & critiquing. lol Plus he finds all these obscure/unknown bands & makes me listen to them.

Oh my gosh... that sounds just like me. I was brought up with the 80s hair bands and such. My dad loved Motley as did my half-brother Jeremy. Jeremy plays in a band now and he sings (he's not very good, but I obviously can't tell him that, lol) and his best friend Chris (whom I'm bound and determined to marry, if I can't marry Benicio Del Toro, lmao) plays the guitar amazingly. He's awesome.

That's tough. I'd have to agree with the Motley Crue post above and must have Def Leppard, but then I need some Matchbox 20 and must have Sheryl Crow too. (Little bit of music from my 20's and a little from my 30's ;D)

I like some of Sheryl Crow's older stuff like "Everyday Is A Winding Road". But lately, she's not released any music I could actually listen to.

Yeah, again like I said some of her stuff appeals to me now as I've gotten older. I don't really think I would have liked it when I was in my total hair/head banger days.

I really wished I woulda been my age now back in the 80s. I would've loved it. Now all the music that gets the attention is people like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, which I don't mind because I do listen to both sometimes, but I'd love to see Motley, Def Leppard, or even Warrant all over the music channels. And Headbanger's Ball... I look like someone who lived in the 80s though, so I'm keepin it alive. Go me! LoL.

You go girl! The 80's will never die. That's why I'm glad I still have all my VHS tapes of 80's bands that I bought back in the day. Whenever I'm in the mood I'll just pop one in & I'm transported back in time. It's a beautiful thing... ;D

I love the 80s. There's just something about that era that I love. The big hair (mines passed my waist, so I can do a lot with it, lol), the clothes, obviously the music... and I also have a thing for the 50s and 60s. Loooooooved those eras too. Why'd I hafta get stuck with the 90s and above? LoL.

My mom said I should've been a flower child b/c I love the 60's music/era so much. I would've had a hey-day back then. Of course I probably would've landed in jail too. But as it is, I'm glad I was an 80's child, I'd go back to those days in an instant!
