Tame as it was this year, I watched the awards because I find celebrity watching in their 'natural habitat' more entertaining than any role they've ever played. The show was played safe by a five second delay so they had ample time to censor if necessary, and only on one performance did they have to really work overtime. The red carpet is always entertaining because it's fun to watch everyone getting hammered before the awards even start. For the most part I enjoyed the performances, but I was really miffed at the performance Hoobastank gave. It was just awful. It made me wonder if the lead singer can really sing or if there is a lot of mixing and sound equipment working overtime when they do a record or make a video. it was really bad. Anybody else catch this?

Dammit, I missed it! Oh well, most of the new music is crap anyway. What performance did they have to censor a lot?

Ok, you know what - I'm an idiot! I don't remember the name of the group that put the censors to the test, but I know it was a rap group. I ended up walking away from the tv during their performance because every other word was bleeped out. Shoot, you couldn't even hear the damn song.
