I started the site a few years ago b/c after hours of endless searching I really couldn't find much up to date news or info about Michael. So to help other Michael fans I decided to create a fan site w/ as much info as possible. I'm not saying the site is perfect by any means, but I do my best to keep it as up to date as possible & keep it fresh for repeated visits. So I hope you enjoy the site & feel free to give any suggestions to make it better!

It is late here in the UK so I wanted to just post a quick message to say that I think your site is terrific and I visit regularly to see what is up with Michael. Now that the message board is easier to use I will be visiting the board regularly as well. Keep up the good work it is much appreciated.

Thanks for the kind words about my site! I really love working on it. Yes, this message board is much better & easier to use than the other one. Hope to see you posting often, & tell any other Michael fans you know about it so they can join in the discussions!

I've only been a Michael Madsen fan since I saw Reservoir Dogs about a couple months ago (to prepare for Volume 2)... but I must say that I'm glad there is a regular updater on the Madsen front. There was that one woman - JoAnn that apparently Michael was kinda close with (not personally, but contact-wise) who used to run a site for him and he sent her all kinds of cool stuff, but she hasn't updated in years, so... it's nice having some place recent to come to. I don't doubt the Madsen sites will start popping up soon, especially after Sin City et al, so at least you have the pride to say you were one of the first!

BTW - this may just be my failing eyesight after countless hours staring at a computer screen, but the purple against the light gray is a little hard to see.

Yeah, I used to communicate w/ Joanne right after I started my site, but I haven't heard from her in ages so I don't know what happened w/ her site. Anyway, thanx for the kinds words, I really enjoy working on the site.

Guess she fell off the face of the earth... lol. Or maybe got an off-line life.

JoAnn now runs Michael's official site (www.michaelmadsen.com) so her old site is no longer updated. Unfortunately she works long hours at a call centre for the police and I gather they are short staffed so she doesn't get to update the site very often. In fact Kill Bill 2 came and went without any acknowledgement on the site at all which was a great shame. She has just updated the site though for info on the new book coming out soon.

Well, that makes sense. That's cool for her. Too bad about the heavy job, though.

Thanx for that info Falco. I was wondering what became of her. I can understand about the long hours of work, they suck!

I thought maybe she gave up after Vengeance Unlimited was cancelled, cuz that's pretty much when the Michael Madsen Mania updates ended. Did anyone actually catch that show? I didn't watch a whole lot of TV when it was on, and from what I hear, it wasn't hugely well-advertised.

I watched Vengeance and it was a cool show. I was a pretty dedicated fan at that point and after catching the first episode was hooked. Then came the big axe and well, that was the end of that. I was pretty upset too with all the crappy shows that manage to make it.

Like the "O.C." I think the reason people are so obsessed with that show is that all the people who were depressed about Dawson's Creek ending had somewhere else to turn now.

I never watched Vengeance Unlimited, but I watched Big Apple religiously until it too got the big axe!
