Ok, so for the last 8 months I've been without a car. I've driven since I was 16 years old, which at this point in my life is quite a long time ago. This is the longest I've gone without my own method of transportation. That said, I have to also say that in my whole life, every car I owned was picked out or bought by someone else. Whether or not I made the payments on the vehicle I have never picked a car out for myself and truly loved it because I wanted it. Fast forward to yesterday when I went and bought a truck that I wanted and am totally in love with! I am so happy about it I can't believe it. The feeling of knowing I picked it out for me and only me and then knowing that it's all mine. Might sound kind of lame, but for whatever reason I honestly have never had a say it the car I drove. But, this time I do, and I can honestly say I am happier than I've ever been in my life and good god, it only took about 17 years to experience this. Ok yeah, I'm a late bloomer but hey, what can you do?

Congrats on the truck Ang! And no, it's not lame at all! Something that you can call your very own & that you picked out yourself is something to be VERY happy about!!

I expect to be flowergirl at you wedding,Aradia. Not a fan of Elvis don't get married by him. A friend of mine whose daughter got married in Las Vegas had this Elvis guy swanning around in the background and her wedding photos where so tacky. Her father was furious! Not that I'm saying your wedding would be tacky. Nove.

lol, well simon and i dont actually wanna get married but its the only way we can betogether. the only visa i will qualify for is a fiance visa and we have to get married within 6 months afterwards. so we decided since we have to take that step we might as well just make it all about having fun, instead of something so serious. simon and i are not very serious people, we just like to act like big kids and have fun. i guess neither one of us are ready to grow up completely. but im ok with that, i dont like those serious adult relationships anyways. they usually crash and burn. i dont want that for me and simon.

OK, so I bought another car and kept them both. Bought an Olds Alero and kept the Suburban for the space factor, but I drive the Alero for the gas factor. Cool either way cause my ass isn't walking ever again!!!!!!
