The last ones I went to were Collective Soul at our summer music festival. They were awesome as usual (it was my fourth time to see them) except for the damn crowd surfers. Then I went to see Metallica & Godsmack last month. It was too awesome for words but I think I have permanent hearing loss from that one! ;D

I can't even imagine going to Metallica and Godsmack! I think that would be the answer to my dreams ;D I've always been a Metallica fan from way back to the Garage Days!
Lucky you!

Yeah, it was a dream come true for me, I'd never gotten to see them live before, and I've been a fan since back in the day. And Godsmack was just icing on the cake! Awesome group!

The last concert I went to was Def Leppard. I saw em twice last year. And my bros are taking me to the KISS and Poison concert next month. So excited.

I am a Def Leppard fan bigtime! Too funny! My little sisters first concert was Def Leppard only because I bought tickets and then won the first set a local radio station gave away. My mom kinda forced her to go. Even funnier still, that particular concert had to be postponed because the truck driver in charge of one of their big rigs carrying about half of the band equipment got stoned and lost his way through town. He abandoned the semi (which happened to be right around the corner from my house) and took off. It was too late to make the concert by the time they found the truck and the band had to reschedule. It was the craziest thing too because the day it happened I'd driven past the truck a couple of times before they found it. It was too weird. Def Leppard hasn't ever had good luck when they've come to Tucson though.

That was funny but sad at the same time, lol. What do you think of Vivian, Tsn? I think he's an awesome guitar player, but of course, he'll never amount to Steve. Do you like any other 80s bands?

You're talking to the queens of 80's music here VicChick! LOL ;D That Def Lep story is too funny! I haven't seen them in awhile but I saw them live about 3 times back in the day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Kiss/Poison tour will come here. I saw Poison & Vince Neil last summer & it was outstanding! I felt like a teenager again! heh heh And of course I'm still praying that Duran Duran will do a North American tour when their new album comes out. Then I can truly die a happy woman!

Grr... I was supposed to see Vince earlier this year, but my cousin, who had the tickets, sold them.
The tour I'm looking forward to the most is Motley's farewell tour. I haven't seen them in concert yet, but I WILL on that tour.

When I saw him last year he still sounded great. Looked a lot better too since he lost all that weight. The only problem is now he's one of those singers who only sings like every other word of the song. So now it's like "Take....ride...wild...side..." lol It can be very distracting... Def. see them in concert if you get the chance! They are awesome. I saw them several times back in the day.

I have a live DVD of Motley from a recent concert and Vince sounded like a whining little girl with a skinned knee. His singing really bothers me as of late, but that won't stop me from seeing them in concert.

I don't mind Viv at all, but you're right the chemistry between Steve and Phil won't ever be recreated. (The Terror Twins!) And, I'll admit I like so many 80's bands I suffer through constant ridicule from just about everyone who knows me. I just have such great memories attached to some of those songs I can't begin to explain. Some of my all time fave's (after Def Lep) Skid Row, Poison, Cinderella, and many others. I was all big hair back then and I shudder to this day whenever I look at those photos.

My mom was listening to some country station on the radio last night and she put the headphones on me and they were playing a country version of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and I was all angry how some country remade the song and then the DJ said it was Bret Michaels. Now I'm all confused. LoL.

Yeah, I have to put in my 80's cd's quite often & relive my teenage-hood! Brings back so many memories. Skid Row, Poison & Cinderella are some of my faves also. I actually got to meet Skid Row back in the day at an autograph session. Stood in line for about 6 hrs., and it was HOT. But it was well worth it, the guys were great & very funny! I also got to meet Slaughter a few yrs ago too. Talk about awesomely nice & sweet guys! And sooo cute in person. I just wanted to take all of them home w/ me!

It wouldn't surprise me if it was Bret on the country station. I think he's pretty much sold out. But, I have his wife to thank for coming up with the name Raiyne. My brother (got me into Motley Crue) had a daughter with his ex-wife and they were stuck on names and they wanted something rockstar-like, so I came up with Skylar Raiyne. They were fans.
