Totally agree with all your points on Mystic River. I kept looking at the timer on the DVD player wondering how long the movie was going to be. (Not bright enough to look at the stupid case to see how long it was ;D) But, overall the length really didn't bother me that much because the movie was interesting and kept me engrossed almost all the way through. - Still haven't watched The Secret Window, probably will tonight. I'll let everyone know what I think.

Yeah, we looked to see how long it was before we started watching it & I was like 'holy sh*t'...but once I got into it, it really didn't seem that long b/c it was so interesting.

I loved "Mystic River". I watch it a lot.
"Monster" - See it!!!!! Oh man, everything I expected it to be. It was a little slow at first, but then.... it was just amazing. Charlize was brilliant as was Christina Ricci, who I don't even like. I loved this movie. Loved it.

Definitely pick up "Monster". Such great times.
"The Bourne Supremacy" - See it! (only if you saw the first one, lol) This was such an awesome flick just like I thought it would be. I love Matt Damon, that kid has major talent. I think he deserves an Oscar for acting sometime in the future. But yeah, the movie was great. You, as the audience, get to piece together the story along with Matt. It's just great. You all should check it out.

Can't wait to see Bourne Supremecy, looks great. I finally watched the Secret Window and I thought it was great. It was very suspenseful and totally surprising at the end. Depp played a great character and being that it was written by King, I knew it was a safe bet I'd like it. Totally recommended viewing.

I haven't seen Secret Window yet, but I want to. That particular King short story isn't one of my faves, but it's a King story so...plus you got Johnny Depp! ;D

"The Village" - Unsure Don't see it if you wanna be scared cuz it's not scary at all. See it if like surprise endings, great acting, and a little comedy.

Yeah, I've heard that it's not really what the trailers portrayed it to be...but still good. And it's M. Night so it's gotta rock!

Hidalgo - Wasn't impressed, not a Viggo Mortensen fan and the movie was a bit long. I guess if I'd actually liked the movie I wouldn't have noticed the length of it, but towards the end (over 2 hrs long) I was wondering if it would ever end. Not that anyone on this board cares, but my four year old highly recommends that new Bratz movie that came out yesterday. We got a shipment of movies from Netflix and she watched it about four times yesterday. So Mommy highly recommends it too

GOOD LUCK ;D I'm on day two with this one. I'm having the theme going through my head and I'm getting scared now.

LOL...I just don't understand what the attraction is w/ these Bratz. I mean, the dolls are ugly, the only remotely cute one is the blond one...can't think of her name. But my niece would rather have Bratz dolls now than Barbies.

Yes, the Barbie inventory in my house is almost non-existant. She's only starring in supporting roles when the kids play with her.
Oh, an because I've become somewhat of an expert on these god-awful dolls, the blonde one is Cloe. Black hair is Jade, reddish brown is Megan, other reddish brown is Yasmin and the african american (notice my impeccable political correctness) doll is Sasha.
Jeez, that just makes me want to go play now. (That or be committed for knowig all those.) Don't even get me started on the male bratz. They're just a bunch of dorky looking dolls with stupid names.

LOL...well I'm the Toy department manager at the W-Mart I work at, so I stock the Bratz dolls at least once a week & I still haven't learned all their names. I'll just stick w/ good ol' Barbie...even though she DOES have a new boyfriend now....I guess she got tired of Ken & kicked him to the curb after all these years.
