Johnson Family Vacation - DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS TRAIN WRECK - I THOUGHT MY BOSS'S DAUGHTER WAS BAD... Talk about plot screwups, filming errors and story lameness this bomb should be detonated. Jeez, my twelve year old could write and film a better flick than this. Real stinker.

Alien Vs Predator-Neutral If you're not a fan of either of these movie franchises I wouldn't suggest seeing it. Being as I AM a fan of both, this movie was ok. Nothing special, just what I expected it to be. Pretty predictable, no really outstanding performances, though it WAS good to see Lance Henriksen back in action again. Good action scenes between the Alien & Predator & they left the ending wide open for a sequel.

Would actually like to see this one and I'm inclined to think in the theaters would be better than on dvd.

The second part of the movie after the action got started was actually pretty good, just the first half dragged a little bit. And the camera work & editing was kinda choppy & dark so it's kinda hard to see what's going on in some of the scenes. And I agree that's it's probably gonna come across betteron the big screen than it will on dvd.

The Passion of the Christ-See It! If you're squeamish, this might not be the movie for you as it is VERY graphic. But I do recommend this movie highly whether you're religiously inclined or not. It's very moving, well-acted & stunning. It's sub-titled in English so it takes some getting used to reading but it's not so bad. If this one doesn't get some Oscar nominations I will be VERY suprised! I suspect it will be nominated for Best Picture & Jim Caviezel will be nominated for Best Actor.

Ok, got a couple for you guys Jersey Girl- This really wasn't as bad as everyone said it was. In the wake of Gigli, everyone had this one set to bomb in the same fashion. This is a great family movie, and Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck and George Carlin are wonderful in it. I was incredibly happy that J-Lo died about 12 minutes into the film. Had she not, I'm doubtful I could have watched it all the way. Not a fan of her at all. Good watch! The Human Stain - Anthony Hopkins, Nicole Kidman, Gary Sinise and Ed Harris. Hmmm, not sure what to say about this one except it's really weird and I didn't make it all the way through simply because I got bored with it. Kidman's character is weird and the whole premise of the movie is strange. Not recommended. The Ladykillers This was a good movie. It wasn't what I expected, but it was good. There are some really great performances in this one, mainly by Tom Hanks. His character is hilarious and some of the hijinks he and the band of thieves he's organized for a robbery are just too much. Good Watch. Chris Rock - Never Scared This was another great stand up by Chris Rock. Funny all the way to the end and I would totally recommend this one if your a Chris Rock fan.

I have never been so moved by any one movie. After being schooled in a private (christian) school my entire life, I found this to be the best recreation of the events leading up to the crucifiction I've ever seen. I say that only referencing the Bible's account of the crucifiction. And as far as all the anti-semetic comments from different groups here's what I have to say about that. "You're just pissed because you didn't think of it first." 1st rate, Madsengirl is right, if you're squeamish might want to pass, but definately oscar material.

im currently watching the movie, mona lisa smile. its a bit of a chic flick but i really like this movie and im recomending it. it has a great cast, julia roberts, kirsten dunst, julia styles. 3 of my favs. its about a teacher in the 50's trying to make her art students at an all girls college realize that theres more to life than getting married and pampering to ur husbands every need. its really good.

Totally agree, Mona Lisa Smile was a great flick. I liked the whole story line. That was such a big thing in the 50's for young women to aspire to be great house wives and mothers and not really do much else. Education wasn't a big thing.

HOUSE WIFE no offense to anyone who is Yeah, no offense but it ranks right up there with the family pet as far as I'm concerned. As if the woman is the man's property or something. Like getting married suddenly makes you cease to be an individual. For me too!

Anacondas: Neutral Not that the first one was any good but the hot boat captain in this one makes it all worth while and to tell you the truth the action sequences are not that bad. Great special effects.
Sky Captain and The World Of Tomorrow: Skip it How can Jude Law go from a great performance in Cold Mountain and The Talented Mr.Ripley...to this...I guess you'll appreciate it more if you're a guy but personally the only thing I like about this movie was the time period it was set in. Everything else just seemed dumb.

ANGER MANAGEMENT-skip it. the beginning was funny as hell but after that i was quickly annoyed with it and didnt get through the first 20 minutes. but i do love adam sandlar. hes awesome.
COLD CREEK MANOR- starts off a little slow but a really great movie, not to scary but a litte bit of suspense with a great story line. i really recomend this one.
THIRTEEN- really awesome movie with an amazing performace buy evan rachel wood. this movie shows some of the changes a girl goes thorugh when she becomes teenager and what high school life can do to a young person. its supposed to be sort of a documentary. good movie for young teenagers as well.

MAN ON FIRE - Great flick. It was a bit long, but Denzel Washington was awesome in it. Kind of a different role for him because he was quite a hard a**. Some of the camera angles and special details included throughout the movie were just lame, but the whole idea of the movie and the bulk of it was really good. Once of the better ones I've seen in awhile.
