Stepford Wives - Ok movie. Weird to see Matthew Broderick as a somewhat normal guy. But overall this was a totally watchable movie. Some funny parts but if you're not a Nicole Kidman fan, check it off your list of must see's.
Raising Helen - Definately one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Kate Hudson gets my vote for the next Julia Roberts. She's cute, funny and her acting is excellent. You don't realize you're watching a movie because she has such talent to make the entire thing seem like real life. Excellent 'chick' flick and some guys might like it as well because it's more than a romantic comedy.
The Terminal Ok, because I love Tom Hanks anyway, this was a cool movie too. He can take any role and make that person likeable or unlikeable depending on what the script calls for. Easily this was a good movie with some rather funny parts that I don't think any other actor could have pulled off as well as Tom.
Home at the end of the world Ok, I'll be perfectly honest, I can easily watch two women kissing and fooling around, but I can't stomach two guys. Don't know why, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. But I can't handle it. That made this movie a no go for me and took Colin Farrell down a couple notches in my 'Best Actor' category. Weird, jumpy, and somewhat lame movie.

Chronicles of Riddick If you're a Vin fan (like me) the movie is worth watching just for him. As for the movie itself...it was nowhere as good as Pitch Black, but Riddick still kicked ass! The story is kinda confusing at times & basically the same old 'reluctant hero saves the world' routine. The Jack/Kyra character from PB is also featured & she's a really cool character. I hope they develop her more in the next sequel/prequels. Overall, it's not the greatest movie I've ever seen, but I didn't think it was nearly as bad as the reviews made it out to be.

Blade:Trinity- See It!
If you like action movies with some horror genre mixed in you'll love this one! Lots of awesome action scenes, Blade kicking ass as always and a couple of hotties, Ryan Reynolds most notably. I'm a big fan of the first two Blades & this one is a worthy addition to the series!

Man Of The House- See It!
I saw this last weekend & I have to admit I wasn't really expecting too much from it, but being a huuuge Tommy Lee Jones addict I had to see it. But I must say I was pleasantly suprised & it was A LOT funnier than I expected it to be. TLJ was excellent as always w/ his dry, dead-pan sense of humor & Cedric the Entertainer never fails to make me laugh & he didn't disappoint here. The low points: The cheerleaders were a bit annoying & stereotypical, half-naked airheads & the plot was VERY thin, but IMO the laughs more than made up for it. It's a nice little movie to see on a weekend afternoon when you want to relax & have some laughs & forget the stress of the previous week!

I say The Pacifier the other day with my ex's little sister, was a light hearted little flick with some mindless but fun action sprinkled into some parts, kids should love it, adults that don't take themselves to seriously should also get a kick out of it. I'd say see it if you like vin diesel or if you liked " Mr. Nanny"
we saw boogeyman last week, it sucked.. more like an hour and a hald trailer for a scary movie than an actual scary movie.. crap just pure crap, aoid at all costs!
The week before that we saw Hoosiers.. *cough* I mean Coach Carter, Samuel L Jackson is another of my all time favorite actors, and he as always is nothing but great here, a pretty good teacher/student drama actually, I dug it and if you're in the mood for something like this I highly reccomend it,
these movie reveiws have been brouight to you by nestle's crunch bars and a are a service of Duders inc.

Being a Vin fan I kinda want to see "Pacifier"..although I've read some REALLY bad reviews of it so far. But it was #1 at the box office this weekend...go figure..even beating out Be Cool, which I REALLY wanna see. I just don't know about Vin doing comedy though Although I thought the same thing about Jamie Foxx doing drama until I saw Ray.

Saw- Skip It!
I'm a huge fan of horror/slasher/serial killer movies and this one could've been good. The premise seemed pretty interesting & w/ Danny Glover you usually can't go wrong, BUT this one did. The acting was mediocre to poor even from Cary Elwes, whom I've always liked & IMO Danny Glover was miscast very badly & under-used. The make-up was awful & some of the camera work just didn't fit in. There's a twist at the end that I probably would've seen coming if I'd been paying attention more. But all in all it was just typical. If there's nothing else on worth watching you could watch it as a time-filler but I wouldn't suggest making it a priority watch.

The Pacifier wasn't a grea movie by any means, probably something that I'll never see again, but for the one time I did see it, I enjoyed it, even though its premise is very dated, and some of the stuff that happens is downright stupidd (girl scouts doing kung fu comes to mind) but for some reason, when I left the theatre I didn't have any disdain for the picture.. I guess an overall description for this movie would be it's just "ok"

Ladder 49-See It!!Just watched it this afternoon & was blown away. I was laughing & crying & cheering all at the same time. Excellent performances by John Travolta & Jaoquin Phoenix (as always) & the cinematography was excellent...made you feel like you were right there in the fire along w/ them. I can imagine what it would've been like to see this one on the big screen. Be prepared with lots of tissue though b/c you WILL be crying by the end of the movie. This one will definately be added to my dvd collection!

It was such a great movie, everything about it was great. I will definitely buy it when I have the money(damn that problem).

Taking Lives- See It!
If you like serial-killer thrillers w/ twist endings then you should like this one. The performances by Angelina Jolie & Olivier Martinez were great & the whole atmosphere of the movie was pretty good. Kind of reminded me of Se7en, although it was no where near as good as that masterpiece. But still worthy of viewing anyway. Defintately better than "Saw".

Ocean's Twelve- See It!
I'm giving this a borderline see it. Not b/c I didn't think it was a good movie, but I think anyone who hasn't seen Ocean's Eleven might find it a bit confusing & long. That said, the performances were great, esp. Clooney, Pitt & Julia Roberts, who has one really hilarious bit, although I can't say too much w/out giving anything away. The plot is kind of hard to follow at times, & some of the things involved are really over the top. It is a bit long, just over two hours & I think some of the scenes could've been shortened or cut out completely w/out affecting the whole movie. Bottom line, if you're a fan of the first one, you should def. watch it, if not, you may not want to invest the time in it.
