Another of my letters disappearing in to outer space. :-/At the moment I'm reading" Mistress Of Manningtor" by Connie Monk. All about the start of "World War II". My bf bought me the first 4 harry potter books. i read through 1 and 2 really fast and they are not much different from the movies. but book 3 was a lot more interesting things than the movie does. i read book 4 and now i cant wait to see the movie. i finally understand what all the harry potter fuss was about to begin with. im reading book 5 that i borrowed from somebody and just like the fourth one, i find it very hard to put down. i read it till 1 am sometimes. i just watched 3 different trailers to harry potter and teh goblet of fire and i can already see difference between it and the book. i cant wait to see the movie and i gotta get my hands on the 6th book.
Life is short; you can't change the past, tomorrow my never come, but today will always be here, so live it like it's your last.
I too love the Harry Potter books so does my Mum as well so she is going to read the last book published before I do - I am getting a little impatient to get started on it.
We have started a book club at work so the last book I read was our first choice "Blott on the Landscape" by Tom Sharpe which is a farce good fun to read. But currently I am reading one of the Anne Perry books about Inspector Pitt, a detective novel which are my favourites. Although I have read Patricia Cornwell and James Patterson books I find them increasing violent like they try and out do each other with how gruesome they can be. So I much prefer and enjoy reading the more atmospheric ones like Agatha Christie and historically based detective stories.
I'm reading "Winnie Of The WaterFront". About a young child crippled with polio, deserted by her family and how she makes it through life and become quite a business woman. The Mobile Library doesn't have a great selection and I prefer to read fact rather than fiction,or history. Nove

Now I read "Pan Tadeusz" by Adam Mickiewicz. "Pan Tadeusz" is the most known book in Poland (something like Holy Bible on the World) Mickiewicz is the greatest poet of Poland, of all time. He Was our POETRY GOD...
So I much prefer and enjoy reading the more atmospheric ones like Agatha Christie and historically based detective stories.
If you like police/detective stories, have you read any of John Sandford's Prey series? They're not really that graphic or violent. Great characters & good stories!
Right now I'm reading Ripper by Michael Slade.

I'm reading "The Password Is Courage" by John Castle a true story of a prisoner of the Germans in the Second World War. It' an amazing story of one man's fight for freedom. Nove.
I'm actually reading an Autobiography,my once upon a time choice of reading. It's called "Goldie"a Lotus growns in the mud. All about Goldie Hawn, bit boring and she's full of her self. Nove.
It's a mish mash of stuff and I skipped through it pretty quickly. Not a book I would recomend. I'm now reading "Jamaica Street" by Sally Worboyes. It's all murder and mayhem. Nove.
